Phanatik of The Cross Movement Doesn't Trust the Bible! #fypシ #xyzbca

Brady Goodwin Jr., once a 2-time Grammy-nominated Christian rapper and a key member of the pioneering Christian rap group The Cross Movement, has publicly renounced his Christian faith. He is a self-published author, who delves into the intersection of faith and culture in his six books. Brady brings his knowledge to the classroom as the creator and teacher of "Hip Hop History & Ethics" at The Community College of Philadelphia. He has also taught courses on apologetics, Christianity, and Culture at Lancaster Bible College and Sociology of Hip Hop at Cairn University in Philadelphia. With a B.S. from Lancaster Bible College (2009) and a Master of Arts in Religion from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) (2015), Brady Goodwin Jr.’s departure from the Christian faith is a major development in the religious and rap communities.

I started Dear Woke Christian as a response to the turmoil of 2020. I saw the error in thinking within the Christian community and I wanted to provoke us to think Biblically about issues. So I started writing letters. My hope is to stir up conversation and critical thinking above emotions. Though emotions are good in context much of what's being pushed is "Act now, think later". That's far removed from a Biblical approach and I wanted to stir my brothers and sisters to ask better questions.
