Ghostwriter 👻 & Creative Writing AI Tools - An Overview

Ubisoft announced they will use Ghostwriter AI tool to generate dialogue for their NPCs in some of their games. The tool was created with the purpose of helping game writers in their tedious task of writing barks for NPCs. Like any AI tool, however, there are potential risks and benefits. It all comes down to how these tools are used.

Here I bring you the information we have on Ghostwriter so far, and explain the basic concepts of how Creative Writing AI tools work behind the scenes.

Funny enough, when I was doing research for this video, I played a bit of Far Cry 6, and Holy Moly! I've never noticed before how terrible the NPCs are! They are so lifeless and robotic, I probably just ignored them when I first played the game. Totally unremarkable. Sad. Some people are worried that games will become soulless? I'm 1000% sure that an AI tool couldn't have done worse than what they did manually for Far Cry 6.
