There's this Outlet called the dispatch and it's received investment from Harlan Crow. Or did he find it? He at least sends them money right? He's big he's a minority investor. Not just a one-time donor. A minority investor. That's substantial, right? Which means he has a share in the Enterprise. and two you get a thick minority and think oh one percent two percent. We don't know what the minority share is. Yeah, it could be if it's 49 right. It was 52 one other investor could be 48 invested. We don't know obviously. but that could be the case exactly at the very least he has a financial stake in the dispatch. And there were a lot of conservatives that took this defense from Jonah Goldberg to the bank. And saying like well see even the editor-in-chief of the dispatch which is anti-trump is against or is defending Harlan Crow. So here's this first part right this account Patriot takes tweets out some of the buses that are at Harlan Crow's Library. Which is my personal home. It's, not a tribute to evil or something to be mocked, says Jonah Goldberg. It's an attempt to commemorate the horrors of the 20th century. And in the spirit of never again Harlan Crowe's deeply honorable, decent, and patriotic person. He's not the straw man Thomas haters are trying to make him. And then here we go we have another dispatch staffer weighing in. To add Jonah's comments I know Harlan also knows. I've participated in several debates at Old Parkland. The idea that he's a Nazi who sympathizes with others is utterly ludicrous. He had abhorred tyranny. From fascism to Communism to everywhere in between. And unfortunately for them here we go to disclosure Harlan Crow is a minority investor in the dispatch and a friend of the founders. So I mean he wasn't lying there when he said that he knew him. He just didn't leave out. He left out kind of a major detail about the nature of their relationship. I mean much like Harlan Crow's relationship with Clarence Thomas they're close personal friends going on vacation together. giving each other expensive historical gifts. That he has a similar friendship with these guys David French and Jonah Goldberg. And not sure about the gifts part. but at the very least there's a financial stake in the relationship and that part kind of gets pushed to the side. And I was quite amused to see that Glenn Greenwald also had the same take. You know he's a steward for he's like the Aaron Rupar for the Republican party now honestly. I wonder who pays him to just constantly churn out anti-msnbc anti-lib takes. I'm just curious. He tweets An Inconvenient fact about Harlan Crow, Justice Thomas's close friend. a massive donor to the GOP's Never Trump wing. and even moderate Dems. I think this is not inconvenient at all. so like wow a fascist Republican hates Trump. That was literally all of them. what they just wanted was Trump whom they could control more. Are you serious? I gave 30k to Liz Cheney, I mean. like that's gonna set up are you serious?
