You Don't Deserve It! 2 Samuel 9:3 - 13

David made a covenant with Saul's son Jonathan; but that was before David became king and all of Saul's family his enemies. So why then does David seek out Jonathan's son, Mephibosheth and bring him to the palace? Mephibosheth is destitute, lame, helpless, and living in exile. He has nothing to offer the king, yet David seats him at his table and treats him like a son. What's going on and what does this story have to do with us?
