Netflix Earnings Play

Netflix announces earnings tomorrow and I have to be honest, I feel bearish through and through on it. There's just so many headwinds they are facing - password sharing backlash, cost cutting, improved competition, over-saturation in the streaming market, Love Is Blind live event issues, potential writer's strikes, etc. The question is this: does earnings depend on their past performance more than the future guidance they'll lay out? Time will tell.
