The Pattern of Temptation

1. The Look
a. Eve saw the fruit (Genesis 3:6)
b. Jesus was asked to look at all the kingdoms

2. The Desire
a. Eve desired to eat the fruit.
b. Jesus had the desire to eat as he was so hungry.
( Matthew 4:1-11)

3. The Taking
a. Eve took the fruit.
b. Jesus was tempted to take his own life and jump
from the top
of the temple.
