Note! An Update:
On the barrel, on the left side in front of the rear barrel band I could find markings: I was cleaning with Balistol and a Scotch Brite pad: Someone has crudely scratched 5 lines. Five Kills? Also just under that and further towards that band is the remnant of some stamped numbers. Only 2 show and the first is unreadable even under a strong magnifier. In line but further along, is the number 6. Possibly a serial number or maybe a rack number?
