Protest at NYC Crime Hearing (April 17, 2023)

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg is protecting violent felons while punishing the innocent for defending themselves. Maybe he’d do a better job if he wasn’t so busy trumping up a misdemeanor to persecute a political rival!

That’s why yesterday, a bunch of us New Yorkers visited the House Judiciary Committee as they held a hearing for victims of violent crime in Manhattan. The bouncers (federal cops) kept most of us outside in the hallway. So much for it being public.

Many congresspeople walked by as we shouted either cheers or jeers.

One “representative” actually flipped us off: Hank Johnson!

A middle finger from this congressman from Georgia reminded us of what the worst politicians really think of the people who pay them to protect their natural-born rights.

If no one is above the law, it’s time to hold the entire system accountable!
