WORKING CLASS #3-2023: No One Wants to Work Anymore? Really?

I say I dropped out of the U.S job market. But I realize I haven’t. I’m looking for meaningful work rather than exchanging being abused for a too low paycheck.

Being a member of the working class, work is central to my being. I like to work. I take pride in doing a good job.

As John Steinbeck wrote: "Americans are temporarily embarrassed millionaires." I am trying to not to be ashamed of what has happened to me as the U.S. economy turns its most deadly forces against the American Working Class. The U.S. economy, run by Wall Street and aided by the U.S. Congress, should be ashamed of its broken, failed, dishonest, criminal self.

• BEING UNEMPLOYED: Feeling guilty and terrified you might not find another job

• JOB HUNT JUNGLE: New trend – untested job application software slows down and inhibits job search. Human Resources no longer reads resumes but more than willing to waste your time and ignore you. Too long job vetting – a couple of days used to be enough

• VIOLATION OF PRIVACY BACKGROUND CHECKS FOR JOBS AND TO RENT: New trend - Drug Test and Credit Score is no one’s business unless you’re a bus drive, a pilot or the Chief Finance Officer

• RENTING NIGHTMARE: Unreasonable renting requirements and rents are the main reasons for mass homelessness in the United States. Rents and renting requirements need to be put under community oversight asap

• HUMAN RESOURCES WTF? Today’s HR departments are the old Company Unions. HR and Company Unions solely represent the interests of the owner and are actually hostile to workers. Recommendation: Join or start a union, and put working people you know into union leadership

• FORMER SECRETARY OF LABOR MARTY WALSH IS THE SECOND MOST WORST PERSON IN THE WORLD: After Chairman/CEO Jamie Dimon of JPMorgan Chase

• POOR WHITES IN RURAL COMMUNITIES SUFFER IN SILENCE: This is one of the worse things I have ever seen
