EATING GARBAGE? Today we are eating a pile of... I am not sure what it is, BUT A VERY FAMOUS NEW YORK STREET FOOD! Rochester New York is known for a famous dish called a "Garbage Plate" which is a mixture of a meat (burgers (beef), chicken, sausage, hotdogs, or anything in between), served with macaroni salad, French fries and a beef sauce! This strange ny street food delicacy is a iconic late night greasy dish that'll fill you up and make you feel comfortable. Yes, it is oddly a comfort food! For todays food challenge we take on a giant sized plate at Vasko's! We had only 10 minutes to eat this huge pile of food in order to get the $30ish meal for free. Can we beat this new York food challenge? Or will this new york street food challenge beat us? Tune in for a very quick and huge food challenge! It was fun to be able to do a challenge with this famous new york garbage plate, as locals have defined Rochester by the unique new york food dish itself making it the official dish of the city! However its history is not without controversy as many legal battles have been had over trademarked names, and the claim to who originally created the plate! However, Nick Tahou Hots in rochester new york is usually accepted as the first to create this controversial food known as the garbage plate (Landmark eatery celebrated for its "Garbage Plate," a mash-up of meats, fries, salads & sauces).
