Oklahoma Officials Discuss Killing Journalists, Bemoan Black Rights

McCurtain Gazette-News in Oklahoma obtained audio of multiple local officials discussing their desire to kill journalists who were requesting information from them. In the audio, the Republican officials also bemoan how black people have more rights than white people now because it's illegal for them to be lynched. The audio recording has sparked outrage and calls for the officials to be fired or resign. It has also raised concerns about the level of racism and white supremacy in Oklahoma.
