Heidi goes to live with her grandfather but, her aunt is determined to cash in on the poor little girl. She kidnaps Heidi and sells her to a rich widower for his daughters playmate. Heidi is held there for sometime and makes friends with the widowers daughter. They spend Christmas together. However, poor Heidi just wants to return to the grandfather.
I ❤ this movie. I have found great inspiration in watching this movie as, I struggled from childhood to walk. This movie is adapted from a book written in 1880.
On February 10, 2014, Shirley Temple Black, who as a child in the 1930s became one of Hollywood's most successful stars, dies at her Woodside, California, home at age 85.
It may have been 86 years since a young Shirley Temple stepped in front of the camera, but this is a timeless classic.
Many versions of this film have been made and it is easy for the public to access this film. I am so, proud to own this digital copy.
