ATF Director Steven Dettlebach squirms through a question ask of him as to why NFA Form 4 wait times are over 8 months.

My solution is to allow licensed FFL dealers process NFA form 4s through the FBI NICS system INSTANTLY! If NICS is sufficient enough background check for purchasing an AR15 with a 16" barrel, then is should be sufficient enough for a rifle with a 10.5" barrel, or a suppressor (that isn't a firearm).
