30 years ago yesterday, the United States government intentionally incinerated 2 dozen children and their parents and along with it any vestige of decency and credibility they might have had laying around forever.

Waco, in the middle of Texas, used to be one of those American towns destined to be forever unremarkable. But 51 days of hell 30 years ago changed all that. It started when David Koresh, a cult leader who thought he was Jesus Christ, decided to take on the United States government.

There was a violent gun battle and ten people, including four federal agents, were killed. But that bloodbath led to a bizarre standoff which lasted almost two months before Koresh, and 79 of his followers, were burned alive in a deliberately lit inferno. Only nine people survived. One of them was an Australian man named Graeme Craddock, and now for the first time he is telling what it was like inside Waco – and why he still believes David Koresh will one day return to Earth as the son of God.

They shot a teenage boy who was on top of a water tower and refused to let Davidians recover the body for days.

After the body was recovered and buried, they did donuts on top of his grave in an APC, after using tanks to crush every vehicle on the grounds.

They placed horrifying noises (such as animals being killed) on giant loudspeakers while blasting searchlights into the building KNOWING dozens of terrified children were inside.

They had a "dog team" with them whose sole job was to kill every dog in the member's kennels.

Imagine the sheer combined level of pure depraved evil that was in one place at one time during those weeks.

And they represented the United States.
Every last person that participated in this evil had an American flag patch on their shoulder.

It matters not that David Koresh's religion was a little "Out there." What matters is that he and all of his innocent followers were MURDERED by an out of control government, including women and children! Ruby Ridge and Waco spawned the American Militia Movement, yet they're the ones who call US extremists? Think about that the next time you hear the words, "right-wing extremists."
