A quick video on the stock screening and backtesting software I personally use and have used for many years.

I would strongly suggest not putting any money into the stock market or trading strategy without first backtesting it.

I'm also an advocate of trying to keep your strategy as objective and mechanical as you can, this helps with the psychological hindrances traders often encounter on their journey.
