Gamera vs Monster X (Gamera vs Jiger)

Here is the third Gamera movie that I have. It is sourced from the same public domain DVD as Gamera vs Barugon was, so it doesn't look any better than that did. I did what I could to clean up the image, but I am limited in what I can do here. I thought it might be nice for people to have a full HD version of this flick that will look somewhat better on modern TVs.

This is the U.S. cut of the sixth Gamera film called Gamera vs Jiger. In the U.S. it was retitled Gamera vs Monster X. This was well on into the era of Gamera where it was aimed primarily at children and starred children as the main characters. They like to shout his name a hell of a lot, and both the enemy monster and the fight can be pretty goofy. This is most definitely not as good as the other two that I uploaded. This is the last one that I can upload as I have no other Showa era Gamera flicks in the public domain. You can get a much better viewing experience with the blu ray restoration and remasters released by Arrow. You can get that here:

I have a handful of other public domain films if anyone is interested. They might look even worse than these Gamera films do, though, because there are five flicks crammed onto one DVD.
