Police Begin Evicting Refugees from UNHCR Offices in Pretoria Police began evicting refugees from outside the offices of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Pretoria on Wednesday morning. The refugees had been camping on the pavement outside the UNHCR offices since 2019. The eviction was carried out under the supervision of the South African Police Service (SAPS).
