Octopath Traveler 2 (PC) - Part 48: Father's Broken Heart (Throne Chapter 3B)

After a job in Winterbloom, Father had told Throne to meet him in the city of Montwise. There, he shows her some of his backstory, specifically where he was going to marry a woman named Marietta. Before the wedding, Marietta revealed to Father that she was pregnant. So that means Father actually is Throne's real father...right? Nope! Marietta fell in love with the founder of the Blacksnakes, killed Father's child, and had another child with him who turned out to be Throne. Father then proceeded to kill Marietta and take over the Blacksnakes. As co-leader, Father gave special attention to Throne, the daughter of the woman he loved, and specifically trained her to kill him.

With both keys now in hand, Throne goes to unlock her collar, only to discover that the keys don't fit. Where do Mother and Father's keys go? Who is Throne's real father? Find out in Throne's final chapter later on!

NOTE: Throne's third chapter has two different routes, one for Mother and one for Father. Mother's Route was marked as Chapter 3A.
