This is reminiscent of when she refused to debate me and preferred to debate Mike Pence and his pet fly. With her it’s always optics over substance. What is more important here is the nearly 300,000 children being sent off by their families to a foreign nation, possibly never to see them again, possibly allowing them to be abused at the hands of the strangers transporting them because it’s the better alternative than being slaughtered at the hands of the drug cartels. These cartels are becoming wealthy the same way Al Capone and his ilk did during alcohol prohibition. We’ve already learned that prohibition does not make the demand go away nor the supply. The war on drugs is making these violent cartels richer by the second and until we address that, the immigration crisis is never going to go away. We need to stop empowering our worst enemies causing the never-ending surges of people trying to flee.
