What happens to infants, and other children   before the age of reason, or people who never reach a state of reason, who die without baptism?

Look, I know this is a sensitive topic. But, Unfortunately the truth doesn't care about our feelings. And just so you know I have 5 grandchildren and only 1 of them is baptized. So it's not as though I'm unsympathetic to anyone's individual situation. 

But the truth is the truth. And the truth is hard to bear sometimes. And just because we don't like the truth, doesn't mean we can change it.
