Octopath Traveler 2 (PC) - Part 50: Rusty Polearm & Cursed Armor

There is only one Rusty Weapon to go to fully unlock all of the Armsmaster skills, so let's go into uncharted territory to get it! The Rusty Polearm can be found in the endgame city of Timberain, just north of Wellgrove. This weapon is guarded not by a boss, but rather by a boss-level 8-star NPC. On the northwest side of town, there is a tower with an Elderly Guard in front of it. Buy/Steal/Entreat his items first, then take him out. You can easily knock him out by Ambushing him with Throne or Soothing him with Castti, but I wanted to challenge myself by fighting him 1v1 with Hikari. I had to cut out three fails before I finally took him down! Anyway, once he's knocked out, enter the tower and follow the path to the right to get the Rusty Polearm. Take this back to the blacksmith at Gravell and he will restore it to the Warlord's Spear.

On the way to Timberain, I also stumble across another optional dungeon, the House Wellows Manor. It's so eerie in here that there is no music, not even during battle. I'll be coming back here for a sidequest later, but for now I wanted to grab the Cursed Armor within. Again, combine this with a Blessing In Disguise accessory, and you have one amazing piece of gear!
