Our message this week focuses on a parable that many are familiar with. It is the story that Jesus told of two builders, one wise and the other foolish. And this parable is one that I come back to regularly because I'm compelled to study—the foolish in the Bible.

I never want to be classified as a fool. And so this has been a long-term, fascinating study in the characteristic of who the Bible calls fools. In our passage today, we will focus on scripture with Jesus talking about the most basic characteristic of fools.
