Drones Chasing MaxAir420's Fixed Wing RC Plane During the 3rd Annual South Florida Drone Meet-up

On Day 2 of the 3rd Annual South Florida Drone Meet-Up at Jensen Beach, one of the long anticipated events was chasing @maxair420 as he flew a fixed wing RC plane around the area. At one point, there were at least 6 drones chasing him, but nobody collided or crashed into the impenetrable scrub below in the dunes. This (not so) short video was taken by our DJI Avata FPV drone, being flown in Sport Mode (not acro / manual mode). The camera's stabilization settings were set for Horizon Leveling, so that's why you won't see the usual FPV tilting of the horizon as the drone cornered or banked as it turned.

Next year's 4th Annual South Florida Drone Meet-up is scheduled for April 6th-7th, with the usual pre event gathering held at STIX Billiards in Stuart, Florida, on the evening of Friday the 5th, a charter fishing trip on Monday, the 8th, and perhaps a semi-organized trip to the Florida Keys on Tuesday, the 9th and/or 10th.
