When a Governor Strips Its Citizen of Their Rights, Lawsuits Will Follow

Washington Gun Law President, William Kirk, discusses the signing of HB 1240, Washington's Assault Weapon Ban, and the two lawsuits that were filed today right after the Governor signed this into legislation. The first, Guardian Arms v. Inslee, was filed by the Silent Majority Foundation in Grant County Superior Court today. The other, Hartford v. Ferguson, has been filed in the US District Court for the Western District of Washington. Both of these suits ask for immediate injunctive relief.
