This month, Alexandre Frédéric Joly is honored to welcome Rijon Erickson to his Open Mic where they explore the need for love in humanity and business to make us all more fulfilled in our lives.

Rijon is a self-sovereign business and technology consultant and collaborative change practitioner who is passionate about connecting people with ideas, each other, and themselves. Rijon has a 25-year history of serving various roles in technology project delivery and support with several Fortune 500 companies. Rijon’s core practice is best described as creative improvisation inspired by the principles of jazz, Open Space Technology, BetaCodex, and the Manifesto for Agile Software Development. Rijon's passion project is the Purple Squirrel Cafe - a brave, vibrant, and anti-fragile digital event space that specializes in “100% Certified Organic Conversation” that inspires liberation of the human spirit, embodies unconditional respect for the personal sovereignty and human dignity of the Other, and celebrates the experience of joyful togetherness. Rijon most frequently touches the earth and inhabits space in Charlotte, NC with his wife, 26-year-old child, and their occasionally benevolent feline dictator.
