The crows in Resident Evil serve as an important element in the game's overall atmosphere of tension and danger. They create a sense of unease and uncertainty for the player, making the game more immersive and exciting. They typically don't pose much of a threat because the player can simply outrun them. Although, if you're already low on health, they can end your playthrough.

I didn't notice these feather effects until recently. Has anybody else caught this?
