Debit and credit do not converge / Prank with the Chairman of the FRI Jerome Powell

In the new episode of the "Show ViL", FRI's Chairman Jerome Powell spoke about the huge US national debt:

"When you're running a deficit, you literally don't have money to spend if you can't borrow anymore."

He also conducted an educational course on the specifics of the financial system of his country:

"We are the only major country that has such a system. Congress votes to direct funds to spending, and then we spend more money than we get. So we have to borrow to finance expenses. But at the same time, we did not vote for the approval of debt financing. There is a battle going on over what needs to be done to raise the debt ceiling."

He added a vote on this issue will be held in June 2023:

"One political party is trying to use its influence to dictate to another political party what fiscal policy to pursue. In other words, they want to ensure spending cuts. So this confrontation is taking place in the US system."
