This one-of-its-kind project connects 10 islands around Kochi through battery-operated electric hybrid boats for seamless connectivity with Kochi city.
Water metro is actually the boats.
This jetty will also provide intermodal connectivity between the bus terminal and the metro network.
This will reduce the traffic problems of Kochi and backwater tourism will also get new attractions.
