As we grow in our faith, we find that there are many areas of our heart that still need to be given to the Lord. Is Jesus really the Lord of your life? Then we need to submit to Him. It's not like being pinned down to the ground at the schoolyard until you say "uncle." It's more like being on a wilderness hike and having choices; either following the Lord to the top of the mountain, or going on your own and getting lost, sinking in the mud, and caught in the briar patch.
