April 23, 2023 - Jesus' Authority Challenged

Regarding challenging Jesus: The hyper-religious challenged Jesus and came away limping.

Regarding fear: Believers are to fear God only; it is wrong for a believer to fear anything else!

Chuck Misler on fear: Worry is a trickle of fear in our soul that soon cuts a crevice so deep that it drains all other thought away.

JESUS on worry: "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." - Matthew 6:34

We all have the fear/worry gene; it came at the fall - "Adam was afraid and hid himself".

We are told to fear not, stop worrying!
Easy to say, hard to do!

WHEN worry happens, take a hard stop!!

Do not live in "what if" land . . .
Live in "Trust" land!!

Regarding the way of the righteousness:
There is one person who will get you to heaven, JESUS!!

It is all about believing and receiving the give of salvation - do it NOW!!

You too can join the chorus of believers, through the epochs of time, who can say like Job . . . .
"But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and He will stand upon earth at last. And after my body has decayed, yet in my body I will see God! I will see Him for myself. Yes, I will see Him with my own eyes. I am overwhelmed at the thought!" - Jobe 19:25-27
