I'm a mid 40s wife and veteran living on 3 acres in southeastern Texas, Zone 8.

I was born and raised in Minnesota and since I was little, I gravitated to plants and growing things.

The first veggie I grew was a green bean in 4th grade. Sad to say, it didn't last long. Since then, I've had this desire to buy a few acres and grow my own food.

Hubby and I purchased our property in 2021 and since then I've been steadily adding to my garden and trying new things to grow.
