We don’t know what we don’t know

I touched on this a bit on the most recent episode of Your One Black Friend #Podcast, but I think I need to do a deeper dive on the topic in the following weeks.

Media has always been an effective tool (some have argued “weapon,”) for shaping our opinions, beliefs, behaviour and even our perception of #reality.

And now, like it or not, our lives are being directed, influenced and shaped by #technology many cannot even fathom because they are still operating under the mindset of what we have been programmed to believe is possible and impossible. It’s getting to the point that even our right to #bodilyautonomy is being threatened.

To put it simply: our reality is beginning to echo season 3 of #westworld.

This isn’t even a government issue anymore. Because government is becoming quickly antiquated.

#Corporatocracy is slowly replacing #democracy before our eyes, and #bigtech is quietly setting itself up as an unelected system of control. And unlike traditional forms of government, it will not be necessary to use force or threat of physical violence to control, coerce and drive the masses. Just look at what happened the last 2-3 years.
