It is quite amusing that the government is taking steps that economists would normally think increase inflation, yet most think that it will miraculously just go away on its own. Tax productive enterprises more, negate the accelerated depreciation incentive to invest, print more money, spend more and raise the chances of higher deficits in a recession. Force green energy that raises energy costs, restrict production of a critically important product (energy).
