Successfully Forgetting Ourselves

We all need to escape from time to time; to find something to refresh us on this tiresome journey.

If we escape into things that are not worthwhile, we will have nothing worthwhile to offer ourselves when we inevitably return to ourselves. The need for refreshment will build up, and we will get burnt out.

Forgetting ourselves successfully means losing ourselves to worthwhile things -- things that refresh us, rejuvenate us, inspire us, enrich us, etc. -- so that when we inevitably return to ourselves, we can offer ourselves the worthwhile fuel that we've found.
