The ancient gods of Samaria, known as the Anunnaki, were actually aliens who lived on Earth, and then returned to their home planet, Nibiru, around 1700 BCE. Some call it Planet X, or the 10th planet beyond Pluto, but according to Sumerian cosmology, it's the 12th planet if you count the Sun and Moon as planets.
