Lamborghini's Chief Technical Officer, Rouven Mohr, and Head of Design, Mitja Borkert, discuss the development of the company's first V12 Hybrid Plug-In car. The project presented an exciting challenge for both R&D and design teams, as they aimed to transfer the Lamborghini DNA into the electrified world while maintaining the brand's typical silhouette and high-performance surfaces. The Revuelto is the first Lamborghini car with a completely changed architecture and electric four-wheel drive, and it also features a new carbon fiber monocoque and an unprecedented sound. The goal was to create a car that is innately recognizable as a Lamborghini and celebrates the exposed V12 engine while reducing emissions and increasing performance.
