Our First Morning in Anzio, Italy

From our hotel balcony, Billy shows you the sea, a small park where the Roman Emperor Nero is celebrated, and the beach named after him. It’s about 6:30 am and the day is just beginning! This is the beach where the Allies landed (Italian D-Day) in WWII and liberated Rome from the Nazis.
