Why Worry?

Worry is fear’s extravagance. It extracts interest on trouble before it comes due. It constantly drains the energy God gives us to face daily problems and to fulfill our many responsibilities. It is therefore a sinful waste. As we continue our sermon series in the book of Matthew we explore Jesus’ teaching on the utter futility of worry. More specifically, we hope to extract practical ways to overcome our tendency to worry. Turn in your bibles to Matthew 6: 25-34
