These cats can really swing, baby. I mean, they are as talented as other comparable bands of the time period like "The Monkeys" and The Beatles". Yes, they are a real band (see below) I could listen to this all day, I'm just going to start singing about zip codes everywhere I go. You can't stop me. This is also the first video appearance of Mr. Zip. Which played a major part in a really good Simpsons (Seasons 3 through 8, natch) episode. https://simpsonswiki.com/wiki/Mr._ZIP

We need more PSA's that make up pop songs. With AI on the horizon, we'll just program in the Swingin' Six to sing about more modern technology like Laserdisc and Sony Mini Discs. It is pretty interesting to see how the zip code started and a look at the primitive scanning and computer technology. Computers really need more giant magnetic tapes these days. I need to find a video of those giant hard drives. They look like standard hard drives (i.e. not ssd) but they're like 800x the size of one. What was I talking about again? Oh right, the Swingin' Six. These cats can really swing, baby.

The Swingin’ Six
The music video wasn’t the Swingin’ Six’s musical debut. The six members—Steve Burnett, John Fisher, Pat Lanigan, Richard Neives, Ann Rachel, and Carol Richards—had recorded a 1966 album called For the First Time for Decca Records. It included songs like “Pack Your Bag” and “Bad News.” Musicologist Gary Theroux described the band as having “a Kingston Trio/Mamas & the Papas type sound.”
