This song originated with David Crowder and was written in the thick of the lockdown. He wanted the message to be clear that no matter what is happening and what the future will be, God is still God. Crowder told that whether we're on the mountaintop or in the wilderness, God is good and on the throne. "To sing this declaration of truth during the pandemic and beyond is what we need," he added. "That's what I needed. I need to sing His declaration of truth in these difficult moments."
