We are here to support Russia

A rally in support of Russia was held at Sydney Town Hall. A group of men wearing St George's ribbons and clothes emblazoned with the Z and DPR symbols appeared before an astonished audience.

- Why have you come here today?

- We're here to support the people of Russia, the Orthodox Christians. We're here to support the Russians being hammered by the war for nine years. You don't understand, there is a genocide perpetrated against the Russian people.

The organiser notes that many responded positively to the rally. But a local human rights activist, who 'fights against the totalitarian regimes of Putin and the Xi', is very unhappy and suggests that the Russian Consul General, who thanked the event's participants, should be expelled from Sydney.
