ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਹੋਆ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲੁ ਹਰਿ ਸੇ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਪੈਰੀ ਪਾਹੀ ॥
जिन कउ होआ क्रिपालु हरि से सतिगुर पैरी पाही ॥
Jin ka▫o ho▫ā kirpāl har se saṯgur pairī pāhī.
Those upon whom the Lord showers His Mercy, fall at the Feet of the True Guru.

ਤਿਨ ਐਥੈ ਓਥੈ ਮੁਖ ਉਜਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਦਰਗਹ ਪੈਧੇ ਜਾਹੀ ॥੧੪॥
तिन ऐथै ओथै मुख उजले हरि दरगह पैधे जाही ॥१४॥
Ŧin aithai othai mukẖ ujle har ḏargėh paiḏẖe jāhī. ||14||
Here and hereafter, their faces are radiant; they go to the Lord's Court in robes of honor. ||14||

सलोक मः २ ॥
Salok mėhlā 2.
Shalok, Second Mehl:

ਜੋ ਸਿਰੁ ਸਾਂਈ ਨਾ ਨਿਵੈ ਸੋ ਸਿਰੁ ਦੀਜੈ ਡਾਰਿ ॥
जो सिरु सांई ना निवै सो सिरु दीजै डारि ॥
Jo sir sāʼn▫ī nā nivai so sir ḏījai dār.
Chop off that head which does not bow to the Lord.

ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਪਿੰਜਰ ਮਹਿ ਬਿਰਹਾ ਨਹੀ ਸੋ ਪਿੰਜਰੁ ਲੈ ਜਾਰਿ ॥੧॥
नानक जिसु पिंजर महि बिरहा नही सो पिंजरु लै जारि ॥१॥
Nānak jis pinjar mėh birhā nahī so pinjar lai jār. ||1||
O Nanak, that human body, in which there is no pain of separation from the Lord-take that body and burn it. ||1||

Har sākaṯ seṯī sang na karī▫ahu o▫e māre sirjaṇhāre.
O Lord, let me not be in the company of the faithless cynic, who is cursed by the Creator Lord.

Shalok, Fourth Mehl:

ਸਾਕਤ ਜਾਇ ਨਿਵਹਿ ਗੁਰ ਆਗੈ ਮਨਿ ਖੋਟੇ ਕੂੜਿ ਕੂੜਿਆਰੇ ॥
साकत जाइ निवहि गुर आगै मनि खोटे कूड़ि कूड़िआरे ॥
Sākaṯ jā▫e nivėh gur āgai man kẖote kūṛ kūṛi▫āre.
The faithless cynics go and bow before the Guru, but their minds are corrupt and false, totally false.

ਜਾ ਗੁਰੁ ਕਹੈ ਉਠਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਭਾਈ ਬਹਿ ਜਾਹਿ ਘੁਸਰਿ ਬਗੁਲਾਰੇ ॥
जा गुरु कहै उठहु मेरे भाई बहि जाहि घुसरि बगुलारे ॥
Jā gur kahai uṯẖahu mere bẖā▫ī bahi jāhi gẖusar bagulāre.
When the Guru says, "Rise up, my Siblings of Destiny", they sit down, crowded in like cranes.

ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਅੰਦਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਵਰਤੈ ਚੁਣਿ ਕਢੇ ਲਧੋਵਾਰੇ ॥
गुरसिखा अंदरि सतिगुरु वरतै चुणि कढे लधोवारे ॥
Gursikẖā anḏar saṯgur varṯai cẖuṇ kadẖe laḏẖovāre.
The True Guru prevails among His GurSikhs; they pick out and expel the wanderers.

ਓਇ ਅਗੈ ਪਿਛੈ ਬਹਿ ਮੁਹੁ ਛਪਾਇਨਿ ਨ ਰਲਨੀ ਖੋਟੇਆਰੇ ॥
ओइ अगै पिछै बहि मुहु छपाइनि न रलनी खोटेआरे ॥
O▫e agai picẖẖai bahi muhu cẖẖapā▫in na ralnī kẖote▫āre.
Sitting here and there, they hide their faces; being counterfeit, they cannot mix with the genuine.

ਓਨਾ ਦਾ ਭਖੁ ਸੁ ਓਥੈ ਨਾਹੀ ਜਾਇ ਕੂੜੁ ਲਹਨਿ ਭੇਡਾਰੇ ॥
ओना दा भखु सु ओथै नाही जाइ कूड़ु लहनि भेडारे ॥
Onā ḏā bẖakẖ so othai nāhī jā▫e kūṛ lahan bẖedāre.
There is no food for them there; the false go into the filth like sheep.

ਜੇ ਸਾਕਤੁ ਨਰੁ ਖਾਵਾਈਐ ਲੋਚੀਐ ਬਿਖੁ ਕਢੈ ਮੁਖਿ ਉਗਲਾਰੇ ॥
जे साकतु नरु खावाईऐ लोचीऐ बिखु कढै मुखि उगलारे ॥
Je sākaṯ nar kẖāvā▫ī▫ai locẖī▫ai bikẖ kadẖai mukẖ uglāre.
If you try to feed the faithless cynic, he will spit out poison from his mouth.

ਹਰਿ ਸਾਕਤ ਸੇਤੀ ਸੰਗੁ ਨ ਕਰੀਅਹੁ ਓਇ ਮਾਰੇ ਸਿਰਜਣਹਾਰੇ ॥
हरि साकत सेती संगु न करीअहु ओइ मारे सिरजणहारे ॥

जिस का इहु खेलु सोई करि वेखै जन नानक नामु समारे ॥१॥
Jis kā ih kẖel so▫ī kar vekẖai jan Nānak nām samāre. ||1||
This drama belongs to the Lord; He performs it, and He watches over it. Servant Nanak cherishes the Naam, the Name of the Lord. ||1||

Approved by the Amarinder Singh cabi­net on August 21, the Punjab assembly approved the insertion of Section 295 AA in the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) appli­cable to the state on August 28. It replaces an earlier 2016 legislation that provided for similar penal provisions for the desecration of the Sikh holy book. That bill, introduced by the then Akali Dal-BJP government, was rejected by the Centre in April last year, on the premise that "all religions are to be treated equally".
