On Monday night's Raw, the highly anticipated WWE Draft came to a close. Viewers were on the edge of their seats as top WWE stars were chosen by Raw or SmackDown across the three-hour broadcast, resulting in 24 picks. The first pick of the night went to Raw, who selected the new women's champion, Rhea Ripley, after SmackDown's Bianca Belair was drafted to their show the previous Friday.

In a swift response, SmackDown chose United States champion Austin Theory with their first pick, taking a champion from Raw. The excitement continued with Raw selecting Seth Rollins and SmackDown closing out the first round by choosing Charlotte Flair.
