It Was A KEY Day. Cut a key with a Dremel - will it work? Almost took Bonnie for a ride. 950CCA?

1957 Exterior door lock on the wrong side, cleaned them, rekeyed the one and all put back correctly. I cut a B11 GM trunk/boot key with a Dremel and it worked. No $200 key cutting tool. Some old cars only have one side that's keyed. What ever happened to Amber Frick?
