Isaac Uncooked: unworthy?

I'm having a pretty bad day today - but not as bad as Isaac who is now being banned and persecuted because he is deemed to be unacceptable by the powers that be. Is this the consequence of mental illness? Is there no place for anyone in society unless they are mentally healthy? Is there any point even to continuing?
