here's a cheap and easy way to make shiplap for your walls. using 1/8 in underlayment plywood. The cost per square foot comes to less than $0.50 a square foot, which is way cheaper than buying the pre-made shiplap that is $3.08 a square foot.

tools that you need to have are a kreg rip cut system a skill saw and tile spacers.

I wasn't sure how it would turn out and look, but it looks just as good as the pre-made chip lab that is six times the cost.
