George Harrison and Gnarls Barkley are an unlikely pairing but it works and the Friday Segue City Special rolls out just like we do to make way for the Mayor and his doings this weekend. As usual we have no clue as to what he's up to because the fun and sun and joy of being in the Land of the Real Man here in Florida beckons us so off we go... counting all the U-Hauls headed south into the state, apparently a lot of other people form elsewhere are looking for the same thing... freedom.
Segue City is a recurring short-form programming element. At some point it will be a part of "The Big Kahuna." That’s an Internet Radio format that’s a part of Global Entertainment Technology that was created by Dain L. Schult.
It revives the art of mixing two songs together in a seamless pattern where it is tough to tell where the first song ended and the second one began. Sometimes the segues may also revolve around thematic ideas like matching or similar song titles.
Other times there are hidden meanings and Easter Eggs in the mix as well. We'll try anything because no two Segue City Specials will ever be exactly the same...
