Juan Guaidó , leader of the opposition to the Venezuelan regime of  Nicolás Maduro, said that President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and other governments in South America must support democracy and human rights in Venezuela.

“ It is not possible today to pretend to clear the bar of a dictator. I'm talking about the government of Brazil in this case. When you approach a dictator, you run the risk of getting blood on your hands ”, declared Guaidó in response to a question from a journalist in Washington (USA) about political support in South America.

Juan Guaidó was present in Washington, DC, to participate in the 53rd Annual Conference of the Council of the Americas, where the secretary general of the OAS, Luis Almagro, received him.
