"We were a human shield"

An evacuated resident of Artemovsk (Bakhmut) told how the Armed Forces of Ukraine drove them out of their houses and set up camps there.

People were afraid to leave their houses. As the evacuee said, he had already buried his neighbor - the man went out to smoke and came under fire from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Three other friends are missing. According to the refugee, no one found them after the evacuation.
