Forging a simple hook

Hello everyone and welcome to the forge! In this video, I show how to forge a basic hook. I had this process at the ending of my last video at the 26-minute mark, but after giving it some thought I figured it needed to be a stand-alone video so it would be more accessible, and easier to find for someone just starting out. The hook I forge is a basic no-frills hook forged from 1/4 inch mild steel round stock, these make a great beginner project and are a fantastic way to make money to help upgrade your forge.
